To be considered for any RFCU® scholarship you MUST meet ALL of the following general qualifications
General Qualifications
- Must be a primary account holder (Tax Reported Owner), not solely a joint on an account
- Must be a member in good standing, having never caused RFCU a loss

Must be planning to pursue an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university
RFCU® School Branches Program Specific Qualifications
In addition to the above general qualifications, applicants to the RFCU® School Branch scholarship must meet the following qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled at a participating RFCU® Schools Program High School
- Must be taking part in the Schools Program RFCU® Branch Operations
- Must be performing at a satisfactory level
- Must be a Senior set to graduate in 2023

Application Deadline
- Each opportunity has it’s own deadline, please refer to the specific opportunity for the exact deadline. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline has passed
- Applications will not be accepted if mailed in or dropped off at a branch location.
Selection Process
Applications will be evaluated by the Scholarship Committee. All applicants, both selected and not selected, will be notified by email of their scholarship application status.
To apply you will need the following items:
- Completed Application form to be submitted by the specific opportunity deadline
- Essay 300-500 words on the Topic listed
- RFCU® Employee Family applicants please see specific opportunity for additional requirements
Eligibility
- Applicants must be planning to pursue an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university for the Fall 2023 semester.
